Service to our community

At Gethsemane, we believe in sowing as God would lead us to do.  Our outreach services extend our worship services to those who might not otherwise be able to attend church services.  We have services at a local north Topeka nursing home as well as the Rescue Mission in Topeka. Further, each year at Thanksgiving, in conjunction with the Topeka Rescue Mission, our members volunteer to deliver meals to those that are in need.  We open our doors to the local community during our annual events, like Vacation Bible School, Revival, the Women’s Prayer Breakfast, and the Youth Explosion along with our continuing commitment to Topeka Jump.

When she speaks, you can usually expect to leave with something tangible to remind you of her message.   She is an effective witness of Jesus Christ wherever she goes. Her passion is young people and hurting women. Her love for the youth has caused many to start attending church if they have never been before. She lives her life by her favorite Scripture - Phil. 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”
